According to Adobe, Creative Cloud apps like Premiere Pro run on average over 80% faster on a Mac M1 compared to an Intel Mac with an identical configuration.

Adobe plans to extend native Apple silicon support to its After Effects app with a public beta later this year, after updating its Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom Classic apps to run in native to M1 Macs early last month.

Premiere Pro also received a new Speech to Text feature, offering an integrated and automated workflow for creating transcripts and captions.

Adobe detailed more new features in Premiere Pro and After Effects in a blog post.
