Adrian Peterson back in Redskins training

All Day is back in the starting lineup of the Washington Redskins.

Jay Gruden, coach of Derrius Guice, announced Wednesday that Adrian Peterson would start Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Peterson, 34, was inactive Sunday in the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles early in the season, while Gruden decided to ride with Guice.

The second-year professional, however, suffered another knee injury – the torn ACL leg that cost Guice his entire rookie campaign – and should miss a few weeks. Gruden said that there was no update on the health of the running back on Wednesday.

Gruden will then go back to Peterson to carry the load on the first and second tries.

After Sunday's tilt, the coach explained to All Day to be inactive stating, "So, if we have a game in which we think we can run the ball 55 times in a match in I-formation, then I will raise him up. "

With Guice's injury, the Redskins now need Peterson.

Gruden said that he had spoken to Peterson and that the recessed half was "in a good place" after being inactive.

As to whether the situation could occur when AD is again inactive, Gruden has postponed this issue in the future.

"This is the past," he said. "We will care when we are healthy again, if this decision is to be made again."

Until Guice is healthy, the Redskins will drive Peterson. If there is one thing we have seen from the future Hall of Fame, it is that when he is counted, Peterson gets angry. All day.
