Adult Swim presents Rick and Morty Babies for April Fool’s Day

Adult Swim kicked off this year’s April Fool’s Day shenanigans with a preview of Rick and Morty Babies, a kid-friendly version of the network’s sci-fi animated sitcom. Twitter timelines on April 1, aka April Fool’s Day, when the “Adult Swim Junior” initiative kicked off with a pint-sized, kid-voiced episode of Rick and Morty. Adult Swim shared the opening credits for the episode, referencing several other children’s cartoons, in preparation for the junior edition of Total Rickall, the fourth episode of season two.

Adult Swim also showed their dedication to the annual Deception Day by posting another a preview block of upcoming programs on its Adult Swim Junior channel, featuring “age-appropriate shows for growing minds and for growing sense of humor,” like The Venture Nephews (formerly The Venture Bros.) and Space Kid Crib to Crib (formerly Space Ghost Coast to Coast), among others.No one needs to throw their toys out of the pram for this prank; Adult Swim is widely known to participate in the Fourth Month silliness every year. Previous celebrations have included things like the surprise launch of the highly anticipated first episode of Rick and Morty season three, as well as a lawless reinvention of the series from Australian host Michael Cusack.
