A man and a woman in Louisiana were arrested after a kindergarten child brought three bags of cocaine to a school in the New Orleans area on Tuesday, investigators said.
A teacher called a school resource officer after the 5-year-old was seen holding a bag of white powder, which was later discovered to be cocaine. The agent found two other bags of the drug, Slidell, The., Said the police in a Facebook message.
"Throughout the investigation, it was obvious that the child knew nothing about drugs," police said.
The detectives searched the child's home and arrested Angelica Stanley, 23, and Ellis Cousin, 51, after the alleged arrival of cocaine inside.

The investigators said that Stanley and Cousin had stored the drug in the child's clothes, but did not give any additional details.
The police did not reveal the name of the school nor the relationship between the child and the suspects. They stated that "appropriate measures had been taken to ensure the future well-being of the child", but did not provide details.
Stanley and Cousin were charged with possession of a narcotic Schedule II with the intent to distribute it, possession of marijuana for the purpose of distributing it, possession of equipment for the drug use and cruelty to a youth, according to the records of St. Tammany Parish Prison.
