The new Tesla Roadster has sparked a lot of interest within the industry over the past two years.
At the first unveiling of the vehicle, Tesla presented a list of impressive specifications for its new Roadster, including a speed of 0 to 100 km / h in 1.9 seconds, a range of 620 miles and more.
Other supercar manufacturers have even stated that this allowed them to outdo themselves.
CEO Elon Musk has also teased these specifications because the "basic specifications" and other versions should have even more crazy performances.
Later, he even announced that Tesla would offer a "SpaceX package" including cold air thrusters.
At first, the CEO said that these thrusters, which are related to small rocket engines, will "significantly improve acceleration, top speed, braking and cornering", but he also stated that it would allow "maybe even a Tesla to fly".
Originally, Musk was talking about the launch of the new Tesla Roadster in 2020, but recently he has moderated the expectations regarding the timing of the supercar's exit, saying it was not working of a priority.
The last time the CEO talked about timing was when he told me last month that Tesla was aiming for a demonstration of the Roadster "flyby" with the SpaceX package by the end of 2020.
