BRUSSELS, July 27 (Reuters) – EU antitrust regulators on Tuesday unconditionally approved a $ 30 billion offer from Irish aircraft leasing company AerCap (AER.N) for the leasing business of General Electric (GE.N) planes, according to a document posted on the European Commission’s website. .
The deal between the two largest aircraft leasing companies in the world would create a new finance giant and the largest buyer of airliners built by aircraft manufacturers Airbus (AIR.PA) and Boeing (BA.N).
