With hundreds of fashion entries, the judges had to narrow their search, and were looking for: how the theme translates into outfits, creativity, use of trends, color and fabric. Sindi Shangase, head of Durban Fashion Fair, was a judge at the Galaxy Stage for "Clbadic Racewear". "It's pretty interesting, some designers have interpreted the theme well, going for clbadic or modern looks, others got a little lost, taking it very literally," she says.
