Kiwi Cricket fans had a rare opportunity to catch Black Caps and White Ferns in action the same day thanks to a trio of Twenty20 doubles against India this summer.
The initiative was announced as part of The 2018-1920 summer program will be broadcast by New Zealand Cricket and will allow fans to see both national teams in action the same day in Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton.
The men's and women's teams will also play ODI for several days in Napier, Mt. Maunganui and Hamilton
Anthony Crummy, NZC's director of operations, said that the timetable was "rich in content, would bring some of the best players in the world to New Zealand and ensure a healthy geographical distribution". but against Ireland overnight, scored 232 steps out AND took five wickets.

"It is also healthy to drive a bigger show and call in the Black Caps will receive Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on either side of the Indian series with two tests against Sri Lanka in December (including a boxing test in Christchurch) and a three-test series against Bangladesh in March with several T20s and ODI are also expected.
Sri Lanka will also compete for three ODI and a standalone T20 at Eden Park – only one of three games at which the Auckland site has been given for the entire summer.
Bangladesh will play Three ODIs as well as three tests in Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch
NZC had hoped to make the first try of the three-round series of Black Caps against Bangladesh at Seddon Park a sleepless night but were unable to to reach an agreement with the Bangladesh Cricket Board
