If Motorola hoped to surprise the world with the Moto G7 Play, it could say goodbye to this dream. The FCC has published its documents for the device and has revealed many of them. The most notable feature is the notch on the display, which is not unexpected, but also marks the unclear design of the flagship phones to midrange phones. In this notch are a speaker, a front camera and a flash for illuminating selfies.
Inside, the Moto G7 Play features a Snapdragon 632 processor with an Adreno 506 graphics processor, an improvement over the Snapdragon 400 processor in the series. Less good news can be found in the battery. Motorola has brought the battery back to 2820mAh, a significant decrease from the 4000mAh battery found in the Moto G6 Play. To charge the battery, users will now use a USB-C port. It should also be noted that the G7 Play still has a headphone jack and a microSD card slot.
Although some details are still missing, we can see a rear camera with an LED flash and a fingerprint reader placed nearby. In addition, the Moto G7 Play will be available in two colors: black and light blue.
All in all, the Moto G7 Play is a bit of an order game. The processor has been improved, but the display is checked and the battery is now at the same level as the other phones.
