NASA's InSight spacecraft has successfully landed on Mars and will soon begin its exploration of the planet.

InSight is synonymous with inland exploration using seismic surveys and is equipped with instruments to study the interior of the planet.

The LG will also examine seismic activities such as earthquakes, meteorite impacts and dust storms, and follow the oscillation of the North Pole of Mars with a pair of antennas.

InSight was launched initially in May 2018 and hit the surface of Mars successfully last night.

Once the LG's solar panels are properly deployed, they will begin deploying their instruments and collecting data that could be crucial for future Mars missions.

Recent technological advances have accelerated the calendar of human colonization of Mars, according to Elon Musk.

Speaking in a recent interview with HBOMusk said that there was now about a 70% chance that he could move on Mars.
