Masandawana's players have hinted that he could leave the club while he is still on the sidelines of the club.
Did George Lebese, the Mamelodi Sundowns winger, send a message to Kaizer Chiefs?
This follows the 29-year-old's response to a question on Instagram, asking where the player would like to practice his trade with the seemingly imminent exit door.
Since joining Sundowns from Amakhosi, Lebese has gone through a difficult period with the Tshwane giants, despite his signing, considered a homecoming for the playmaker born in Mamelodi.
Publisher's choice
However, things seem even darker for Lebese because not only was he marginalized at Chloorkop this season, but he made no appearance for the club.
This is happening despite the Sundowns badistant coach, Manqoba Mngqithi, who had previously implored the player to kindly raise his socks and regain his place in the team.
Recent reports suggest that Lebese has also been ruled out of the Sundowns' Caf Champions League team, although the club has not yet confirmed this information.
Nevertheless, Lebese organized a "ask me a question" session on his social media account, where he was naturally bombarded with questions about his future.
Lebese has repeatedly referred to a possible departure, especially when he suggested that he would like to return to the Glamor Boys.
"What team do you dream of playing for when the Sundowns chapter is about to close," Lebese was asked on Instagram.
"Kaizer Chiefs" was Lebese's answer.
Lebese is about to leave, it remains to be seen where will be his next destination. But what is certain is that Lebese will have to buy his time because he is still under contract with the former African champions.
