The list of injured in Barcelona stretches as Luis Suarez and Arthur withdrew from the PSV conflict

Barcelona will not have more than half a dozen players from the first team for the Champions League match Wednesday against PSV Eindhoven after adding Luis Suarez and Arthur to their list of injured players.

Suarez will be away for two weeks after aggravating a knee problem. He is also ready to miss matches against Villarreal, Cultural Leonesa and Espanyol.

However, the former Liverpool striker is expected to be back for the Tottenham Champions League visit to Camp Nou on December 12th.

Midfielder Arthur will not participate in the PSV game due to an injury to the abdomen, but Barca hopes he'll be able to face Villarreal on Sunday.

Suarez and Arthur join Rafinha and Sergi Roberto on the sideline. Rafinha will probably miss the rest of the season because of a ligament problem, while Roberto will be away for about a month with a hamstring sprain.

Jasper Cillessen, Sergi Samper and Thomas Vermaelen are also unavailable, but Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic have recovered from their recent moves and will be heading to Eindhoven.

Coach Ernesto Valverde had to call a number of young people to replace the injured players. Goaltenders Inaki Pena and Jokin Ezkieta will travel with Carles Alena, Riqui Puig, Juan Miranda and Chumi.

Barca sealed his place in the UEFA Champions League knockout round with two games to go, and the win in Eindhoven would allow them to win their group.
