The 2018 gaming awards are expected to take place next week, Dec. 6, and it will be an event filled with announcements, it seems. The show organized, Geoff Keighley, said on Twitter that there would be more than 10 ads of games during the event. On top of that, Keighley said the show would also feature "updates" on existing games.
Other teasing for the upcoming revelations will be coming soon, Keighley said. "We have such an incredible show in preparation for next week," he said.

The 2018 Game Awards will take place on Thursday, December 6th starting at 6:00 pm PDT. GameSpot will cover the show and bring you all the big news of the event.
One possible revelation is a new Alien game called Alien: Blackout. We know that a new game Alien for console and PC is about to happen, and recently, the trademark of 20th Century Fox, Alien: Blackout, is the name of a new video game . There is some reason to believe that this could be announced at The Game Awards, but nothing is certain yet.
Last year, the Game Awards, which drew 11.5 million viewers according to Variety, featured a number of important announcements. Among these are the new game From Software, which we now know as Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the lovely In the Valley of the Gods of Campo Santo, developer of Firewatch, the Soul Calibur VI fighting game, Bayonetta 3, and more. In addition to the announcements, you may remember that A Way Out developer Josef Fares proclaimed "F ** k the Oscars!" during the live broadcast.
Keighley and Hideo Kojima, designer of Metal Gear, are friends. So we could also have news of the upcoming game of Kojima, Death Stranding, during the Game Awards.
In addition to the games announced, the Game Awards will also host real rewards. God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assbadin's Creed Odyssey, Celeste, Spider-Man and Monster Hunter: World are all vying for the coveted prize of the game of the year. You can see a complete overview of categories and nominees here. Last year, The Legend of Zelda: The breath of nature of Nintendo won the game title of the year at the Game Awards.
Keighley has high hopes for The Game Awards this year, highlighting for Variety that his show is doing better – based on some indicators – than more traditional shows.
"The Oscars, Grammy Awards and Teen Choice are all reigning and the Game Awards are growing," he said. "These are not apples to apples, but we are the only ones to have a model that increases the number of viewers."
You will be able to watch The Game Awards 2018 here on GameSpot, so come back soon for more details on how to watch and more.
