All Black to captain as Barbarians appoint team for Argentina

New Zealander Wyatt Crockett will lead the Barbarians against Argentina in the Killik Cup match at Twickenham on Saturday, December 1st (2:30 pm).

The pillar is a winner of the World Cup with 71 tries behind him and the most cape player of Super Rugby history after making 202 appearances at the Crusaders.

Crockett, Luke Jones (Australia) and Juan Manuel Leguizamon (Argentina) is part of a formidable forward contingent including the captain of South Africa Siya Kolisi.

The team was strengthened by the arrival of Cardiff Blues Anton Peikrishvili. The pillar of Georgia is on the bench instead of France Alexandre Menini, recalled by Lyon.

The Barbarians face Argentina for the third time in 128 years of existence.

Barbarians:

The Pumas were beaten 34-22 in Cardiff in 1990, but won the 2015 return leg of 49-31. Jager's lood is the only survivor on the Baa-Baas side that day.
