Oppo has announced the launch of its new midrange smartphone, the Oppo A7, in India. Series A is one of the best-selling smartphone series for the company since its launch in India.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, the Oppo A7 features a 6.2-inch HD + Incell display with a screen / body ratio of 88.4% and a notch in drop water, as well as Corning Gorilla Glbad glbad for scratch resistance. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back.
One of the strengths of the Oppo A7 is its large battery of 4,230 mAh. The large capacity, combined with a lower resolution screen and a thrifty chipset, should save even more energy.
The Oppo A7 runs the company's ColorOS 5.2 Android Envelope, which offers Google Lens integration, a Smart Bar window for multitasking, and audio playback for local videos only. Unfortunately, this skin is based on Android 8.1 rather than Android Pie. So do not expect features such as original gesture navigation or adaptive brightness.
