The Orlando Pirates will begin their CAF Champions League campaign against Seychelles Light Stars FC in the prelims Tuesday night at Orlando Stadium.
The match is scheduled for 19:30.
The Buccaneers will now focus on the CAF Champions League after sinking major rival Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 on Saturday to seal a last place at the Telkom Knockout.
Milutin Sredojevic's charges are undefeated in their last 12 games in all competitions. Their last defeat was August 19th, when they lost 1-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic in the league.
The giants of Soweto will return to the competition after a three-year absence.
Meanwhile, the Light Stars will be a closed book for the Pirates, their league being suspended for a while.
The islanders will make their second visit to South Africa after facing Bidvest Wits at the preliminary rounds of the CAF Confederations Cup in 2016.
The Clever Boys beat them 9-0 overall, scoring six goals at home and three on the outside.
Bucs midfielder Vincent Pule was part of the Wits team who won 6-0 at home and was also on the scoresheet.
