The latest controversy between Fallout 76 and Bethesda has nothing to do with the quality of the software, but with some of the $ 200 Power Armor edition of the game.
As a reminder, this lavish collector's edition featured a portable electric armor helmet, hence its name. He also came with many other items, including a canvas carrying bag for the helmet.
This bag is the problem here with some buyers of the Power Armor edition discovering that this is not the canvas as advertised.
An article on subreddit / r / PCGaming not only pointed out that the bag appeared to be made of nylon instead of canvas, but it also highlighted a ridiculous interaction with a Bethesda Store support member.
Their response to the discrepancy between advertisements and the actual product? "The bag presented was a prototype and was too expensive to be made."
This statement suggests a lot that the e-mail exchange was falsified, but a moderator checked the subreddit and, more importantly, the official word came out of Bethesda.
As expected, the person on the other side of the message was related to Bethesda, stating that the support member was "a temporary contract employee and not employed directly by Bethesda or Bethesda Game Studios".
More than that, however, the official Twitter account of Fallout 76 has released the following as "compensation" for those who are not happy with the bag (here's a screenshot for posterity if this tweet were to be removed) .

Atoms are the motto of choice for Fallout 76 that can be purchased with real money. 500 of them cost $ 4.99 or £ 3.99.
That's right, Bethesda does not pay back five real dollars to their clients, but instead provides them with fun money for a game they know people are already upset about.
In addition, 500 atoms bring you very few cosmetic items. A quick overview of the Atomic Shop reveals that for 500 atoms you can paint your PipBoy and get a potted plant for your C.A.M.P, which is nice, we guess.
We can not help thinking that it would not be a problem if Fallout 76 was a better match. His rather mediocre state at the moment has undermined much of the goodwill of this society and many do not want to forgive incidents like this.

Many suggest contacting Bethesda for a solution outside the 500 atoms, then trying to return a credit card debit for the purchase, under the pretext of false advertising.
