Eskom confirms Phase 1 load shed for Thursday

JOHANNESBURG – Eskom will implement phase 1 load shedding from noon to 10pm on Thursday.
The electricity company said on its Twitter account that power cuts are the consequence of more and more failures.
Non Eskom customers are welcome to contact their municipalities for a list of affected areas.
Spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe said: "The electrical system is currently very constrained, which will lead to the implementation of phase 1 load shedding from noon to 22 hours."
