"This is part of the relationship building and there is nothing mischievous in this arrangement.

"We must celebrate the fact that she placed her country in first place and helped us qualify for the Nations Cup and World Cup finals.

"We must support her as she embarks on a new and exciting adventure with a new club abroad."

Jane was one of the key figures in Banyana's march to the finals and the FIFA Women's World Cup in France next year.

She thanked the coaches and teammates for understanding her situation.

"I want to thank Banyana Banyana's technical team for allowing me to leave the camp at this crucial stage of the tournament," she said.

"I do not think that if it was another coach, it would be easy.

"I want to thank the team for having given me the opportunity to be here and my club to have allowed me to come here and be part of this tournament."

If Banyana beat Nigeria for the second time after winning their first match in the group stage, Jane will miss SA's first triumph in this tournament.
