A datamine may have revealed that the next part of the Fortnite map would be affected by the evolution of the story. @FNLeak tweeted an alleged piece of Fortnite code that points to the destruction of Tilted Towers.
"The game files now contain the explicit mention of the destruction of inclined turns!" FNLeak tweeted on Tuesday. The leak continued: "These lines of text have to do with configurable bots in one way or another to attack things."
The datamine seems to indicate that robots packing handguns, machine guns, grenade launchers and rocket launchers will shoot down the towers.
Epic Games has not published any official information on the potential destruction of Titled Towers, but this has not prevented the Fortnian community from theorizing. A theory is that the NPC robots will destroy the Titled Towers and they will look like those of A.I.M. Skin Party Hunting, a robotic character who was featured on the game's loading screens throughout Season 6. Some went further and guessed that the robots would then serve as the PvEvP element of the Season 7 fighting players in the ruins of Tilted Towers.
Yet, other fans remain skeptical, rumors about the destruction of Tilted Towers have been floating all year and were finally sterile.
In any case, it is expected that the Fortnite Season 6 will be completed around December 6th. As big events usually mark the end of one season and the beginning of the next, players should soon determine if the leak of Titled Towers is accurate.
Widely regarded as the most popular game in the world, Fortnite has exceeded 200 million players earlier this week. Epic recently added the limited gift option in Fortnite and allows 60-frame-per-second support for the latest iPhones.
