A Labor MP revealed that he had been HIV-positive for nearly 10 years as the Commons debated World AIDS Day.
Lloyd Russell-Moyle said, "I wanted to be able to speak here in this chamber and say to people living with HIV that our status does not define them, we can be who we want."
And calling on people to overcome their fear of being tested, the member for Brighton Kemptown said, "Better to live in knowledge than to die of fear."
