Apple CEO Tim Cook has described the iPhone X even late in its first sales cycle as the best-selling iPhone every week since its launch. Since then, it has been abandoned without ceremony in Apple Store stores and has been replaced by the iPhone XS and XS Max and the iPhone XR, more affordable.

CNET has spoken with Greg Joswiak, vice president of product marketing, about the evolution of sales. As we could expect, they are doing relatively well because we are talking about new iPhones.

"[The iPhone XR has] been our most popular iPhone every day since the day it became available, "said Joswiak.

When he was confronted with Apple's decision to stop reporting iPhone unit sales and rumors that the company was deleting orders for supplies from its parts makers, Joswiak repeated his affirmation as a kind of chorus.

Earlier this year. Market badysts, both internal and external to Apple, have relied on the XR as a breadwinner for the 2019 fiscal year, with a 2 to 1 sales ratio compared to the two iPhone XS models. But as the launch date came and went, whispers began to come out of the supply chain, indicating a bad result from all sides – while the iPhone XR may be beating it. iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, there was also what some would say a regressive rise in demand for the iPhone X.
