Android Bluetooth Fast Pair feature now works on multiple devices at once

Google has announced it will update its quick pair tool to allow users to pair Bluetooth devices with multiple Android phones and tablets, as well as Chromebooks, at once.

When you join a Google device, all nearby devices connected to the same Google Account will also be linked.

In addition, your Bluetooth devices will automatically remember the devices they have connected to previously and reconnect to them nearby.

Google said it was working with various Bluetooth audio space companies to implement support for this new feature.

Apple already offers this feature through its AirPods, which allow users to switch between different devices connected to the same iCloud account.

This update has begun to be deployed on devices running Android 6.0 and later.

Chromebook users will have to wait until next year before this feature is added.
