The French international could move away from Stamford Bridge if he continues to play his role, according to former Blues striker
Tony Cascarino thinks that N & # 39; Golo Kante could leave Chelsea at the end of the season if Maurizio Sarri continues to favor Jorginho in a midfielder role.
The Italian playmaker was invited to take a stand against Tottenham at Wembley last Saturday, with disastrous results, with the local team losing 3-1.
Kante was deployed in a wider role higher up the field while Jorginho was guilty of leaving too much space in the midfield to allow the Spurs to counter.
Publisher's choice
Sarri defended his decision Wednesday in an interview, insisting that Kante does not have the technical ability to occupy this vital defense position, which has raised more than a few eyebrows.
The 27-year-old played for three and a half years in Chelsea and Leicester City with great success, winning the Premier League and FA Cup twice.
He also has the same responsibility for France at the international level and played a key role in their success in the World Cup in Russia this summer. Former Blue Cascarino believes the 27-year-old is currently undervalued at Stamford Bridge.
"I do not think Sarri's comments that Kante is more technical are too worrying," said the former Irish international at TalkSPORT.
"I think the biggest problem with Kante is that they have awarded him a new contract because they know that many clubs are sniffing him, but he is misplaced.
"You feel he is wasted.
"I think PSG would be as good for him as for other clubs, and why would not they?" He is unquestionably the best at his position in the world for me.
"That's why he signed a new contract, but I do not think it will be enough to keep him as a goalkeeper if Kante plays in that position all season.

"I think at the end of the season he might have enough, knowing he's a much better player in the positions he's used to."
The next step for Chelsea is a Europa League group stage match against PAOK Thessaloniki on Thursday, before a return to the first division against Fulham on Sunday.
The Blues are currently fourth in the standings and seven points behind leaders Manchester City, with Arsenal one point behind in the race for a spot in the Champions League.
