Deep Silver comments on Metro Exodus with Denuvo Tamper Technology | DSOGaming

Many PC gamers were disappointed when they discovered earlier this week that Metro Exodus would use Denuvo's burglar-proof technology. Naturally, the game's Steam forum was full of discussions asking Deep Silver and 4A Games to reconsider and remove it. And, quite surprisingly, the publisher responded and set out his policy regarding Metro Exodus and all its future games.

Deep Silver said that its policy is to protect its PC games with Denuvo, which means that this position will not change (at least in the near future).

"Deep Silver's policy is to protect our PC games with Denuvo and we've been working with 4A Games to make sure it does not affect your experience."

Unfortunately, the publisher did not specify when he was considering removing Denuvo once – and if – the game would be cracked. In case this happens during the first week, Deep Silver will only have trouble keeping it. However, and given the history of society, we can badume that it is not intended to remove it when that happens.

Metro Exodus is currently scheduled for February 15th!
