HIGHLANDERS provided the largest number of players to the last 18 Warriors' traveling team that went to Mauritius this morning for the first leg of Chan qualifier Sunday.
The group, which should be led by defender Manica Diamonds Partson Jaure, saw the Bulawayo giants provide goaltender Ariel Sibanda, named vice-captain, defender Peter Muduhwa, midfielder Nqobizitha Masuku and striker Prince Dube.
The country's top scorer and Chicken Inn striker Clive Augusto, as well as Xolani Ndlovu's defender team-mates and midfielder Malvin Gaki also made the trip.
The return leg is scheduled for Barbourfields Stadium on August 4th. The winner of the first round will then face Lesotho or South Africa to decide who will go to Cameroon for the final next year.
