The beta version of Red Dead Online was launched on November 27 for Ultimate Edition buyers.
The popularity explosion of Battle Royales, such as Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's battlegrounds, has led directly to rumors that developers would include a version of the mode in the highly anticipated Red Dead Online.
The game features a limited version of a Battle Royale mode called Make It Count mode (Make It Count mode) that allows players to play up to 32 players, while Fortnite and PUBG reach around 100.
It's hard to know how long the game will stay in beta or if other features will be added over time.
The beta version of the game offers a long tutorial that must be completed before players can access the open world map. Players can expect to spend about an hour getting to grips with the game.
The release of the beta version of Red Dead Online has in no way been started by Rockstar, so the information on the game is limited to what players have gleaned during the first hours of play.
The map used in the world seems to be identical to that shown in Red Dead Redemption II.
Anyone who has purchased the regular version of the game will be able to access the beta version of Red Dead Online on November 28th.
