Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes is in pole position for his home race: the British Grand Prix 2018 scheduled for Sunday. Hamilton, second in the Drivers' Championship standings after being pulled out of the last race, pbaded Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, his first competition, for first place on the grid.
Vettel will keep him company in the front row as he tries to maintain his lead

Hamilton said his pole lap was one of the most intense rounds of his career.

And then, there is the young Charles Leclerc de Sauber, amid many rumors about where he will meet next season, he managed to get his car back into Top 10, taking the ninth place on the grid Force India's Sergio Perez completes the top 10.
