Just a few days after the start of his transfer project to Ligue 1, Mario Balotelli finally returned to his current club in Nice. Happy days, right?
Well, there is a slight problem. Balotelli decided to show up for pre-season training with two weeks late after being forced to return to the fold.
The 27-year-old man walked alone yesterday and was photographed later in the gym as rumors continue to swirl around his future.
The French group Nice has indeed issued a statement confirming the return of the former Liverpool striker to the club:
"Tuesday afternoon, Mario Balotelli made his return to the training center from OGC Nice. " it read. "After meeting the Nice team, the Italian striker took part in an individual session, in the field and then in the room."
As we all know now, Mario Balotelli likes to get on his nerves while his new manager and Nice boss Patrick Vieira prefers a more conservative attitude.

Their relationship probably did not start as expected, however, when Balotelli – and his teammate Albadane Plea – was absent for the first day of the first training session of the legend of Arsenal.
The new boss said: "We were supposed to have all the players (available), unfortunately, these two were not there, we try to get to the bottom of things.
A reporter at the conference continued to ask questions about Balotelli and the former Juventus player added:
"We were waiting for him today. It was not there and it was not planned. "
Balotelli's situation at the club is unclear: although his two-year contract has expired at the end of June, Nice still retains 10 million euros for his services.
