Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mosa Lebusa shared some of his memories of Brazilians and Orlando Pirates crowned winners of the CAF Champions League.
The Sundowns were the giants of Africa in 2016, after defeating Zamalek at the top and winning the championship title of the CAF Champions League. Lebusa revealed that no one expected the Brazilians to go to the end.

However, the 26-year-old revealed that he was too young to remember the first South African team to win the CAF Champions League trophy in 1995.
"Ja, I always remember Sundowns winner of the Champions League because I think that when Pirates won, I was still young, so when Sundowns won, I remember that I had spoken to Keagan at that time and wished him good luck. I think no one in the country was expecting them to win, but they did it against all odds. I mean, they've done it at that time, even though it's still feasible, we can do it with the players we have, "Lebusa told the media.
The Sundowns will begin their CAF Champions League campaign in the preliminary round against Leones Vegetarianos tonight.
