Nando's attack at #YouPeople (because we are all the same)

[ad_1]

Nando's has dropped its latest announcement and, as usual, South Africans are humorous.

As the brand points out, "you, the people" is an expression often used by South Africans to describe people who are different to them. Thus, in the M & C Saatchi Abel advertisement, Nando's highlights how South Africans stereotype each other and the hypocrisies that attach to it.

"It's a phrase that goes hand in hand with an unconscious bias," according to Nando's. "It's a joke, a slight and even confrontation – and many South Africans have probably used this phrase at one time or another. We were all guilty, some more than others, of populating us. That's what makes you all the same, Nonke!

"A year ago, we reminded South Africa that we can solve our problem and that we can all handle it," says Doug Place, Nando's general manager. "If you look at our advertising and say" I did that (with a guilty smile), then we managed to start a crucial conversation – hopefully, that starts with "us people". "

Wait a minute… @NandosSA just make fun of this guy Adam?

LOVE the sense of South African humor! #You peopleHttps: //t.co/DAtmYonfyb
