The Spanish group of seafood products, Grupo Nueva Pescanova, has reached an agreement for the purchase of the South African firm Unick Fish
according to Nueva Pescanova. The company is present in the retail, restaurant and wholesale channels.
The acquisition, which "strengthens [the group’s] commitment in South Africa," aims to boost shrimp sales, a strategic product for the group, said Nueva Pescanova.
