As part of its largest infrastructure construction project to date, Teraco is to inject 1 billion rand into the Teraco Isando Campus Extension (JB1).

The expansion will be in two phases. Phase 1, currently underway, will increase the installation of 2,000 cabinets, bringing the total capacity of the JB1 campus to 5,700. The total usable area will increase by 4,000 square meters, reaching 12,000 square meters on the data center campus.

The expected date of commissioning is scheduled for the third quarter of 2019.

A total of 60 MW of energy will be allocated to the site to meet the needs of expansion after the end of the phase 1. The total power available for the Isando Campus will now reach 80 MW
