Some OnePlus 6Ts have a static wave problem on the screen.

Based on a handful of reports published on the OnePlus product forums, some 6T owners have had a problem with displaying their phone in which a kind of pixelated "wave" or a pulse of color bright moves up or down the screen. A reliable trigger does not seem to be found, but for the people involved, it seems to happen more often on the lock screen while using OnePlus facial recognition or the built-in fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone.

The problem – which our Cody Toombs aptly called "as if something had changed in the matrix" – is presented in the video below:

According to reports, a factory reset can not solve the problem and it does not seem to be related to a specific SKU. Fortunately for those affected, it is not a persistent or persistent problem that only occurs sporadically.

Although it seems that few people are facing the problem, we nevertheless contacted OnePlus about it to see if the problem was known to society and no response was expected.

None of us, here at Android Police, have encountered the problem, but anecdotal reports are nothing more than another data point. Given the intermittent nature of the problem, it is possible that the problem is more widespread than suggested by the limited number of reports published in the forum post, but it is also possible that some phones suffer from the problem.
