It has been 18 years since Hugh Jackman first tore Wolverine 's awesome figure on our movie screens and, frankly, we can not imagine the character played by someone else.

Speaking to Australians in Hollywood podcast, Jackman revealed that he had got the role after the withdrawal of Scottish actor Dougray Scott because of filming commitments for Mission impossible: 2.
The actors met before filming began at the opening of Fox Studios in Sydney.
"He [Dougray] then came and said, "Mate, I'm really sorry," revealed Jackman.
"And he said" Mate, it has nothing to do with you. It's a great role, go ahead and crush it. You'll be great. I've always thought that it was a clbad act. "

Do not feel too bad for Scott. When asked on a red carpet last year, he admitted he refused the role three times because he "did not want to do it".
"The film I was making at the time was so overgrown that I could not do it in the end," he said. "So it was Wolverine's story. I never think about it to be honest with you.
We bet that it does a little bit.
