There are only a few days left before the month of August, so New Releases takes a look at some of the big players embarking on the new month. WarioWare Gold offers a collection of micro-games, but if you prefer to stay at home and spend hours in an MMO, then you can check out the latest World of Warcraft expansion, Battle for Azeroth. The Japanophiles can enjoy reissues of the cult clbadics Shenmue 1 and 2 and the elegant open world of Yakuza Kiwami 2. And for sports fans, Madden NFL 19 will help you get hype for the pre-season.

WarioWare Gold – August 3

The latest entry in the WarioWare series brings together microgames from the entire series, for a total of 300 furious mad games. It's also the first to offer full dubbing, in case you want Wario's voice to haunt your dreams. Madden NFL 19 – August 10

Another year, another Madden. The new game sports a "real player movement", which will help your players to maneuver much more realistically in the field. It's also the first to present touch dances for some time, as the practice has only been made legal recently in the NFL. The Longshot Story mode is back, and Ultimate Team gets new 3×3 matches and a leaderboard with rewards.

World of Warcraft – Battle for Azeroth – August 14

As you might expect, the latest WoW expansion is a big extension. Battle for Azeroth adds two whole continents and more unexplored islands to explore, as well as many new quests, raids and dungeons. The Horde and the Alliance each get four new playable races, and you can bring those characters to a new level of 120. Shenmue 1 & 2 – August 21

The Sega Dreamcast clbadics are coming back. Although they are not remasters or remakes HD, they are equipped with many new features: modern and clbadic controls, updated user interface, scalable resolution and voiceover English and Japanese. This double package should make an excellent appetizer before the arrival of Shenmue 3.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 – August 28

 No caption provided [19659024]] Speaking of reissues, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a complete remake of the original Yakuza 2, but with new gameplay and cinematic enhancements that flatten the wrinkled parts of the story. There is even a whole new scenario featuring the secondary protagonist Goro Majima.
