JOHANNESBURG – According to NKC Research, the rand fell against the US dollar at yesterday's European trading session.

At the close of local trading, the rand was down 0.2% to R $ 13.84 / $, after trading in the range of R $ 13.72 / – R $ 13.91 / $ . The rand has traded slightly overnight. The JSE All Share stock (+ 2%) finished higher yesterday, thanks to gains in large-scale retail (+ 3.6%) and industrial (+ 2%) shares. In all emerging markets, the MSCI Emerging Market Index (+ 0.76%) traded higher. In local news, Pepkor (+ 7.6%) was fined by the JSE for failing to meet its registration requirements.
