Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat) named Hanré Rossouw, former CFO of Xstrata Alloys, to the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Rossouw will replace Martin Prinsloo, who announced in April that he would leave RBPlat on August 10 to pursue other opportunities

Rossouw is currently working for Investec Asset Management as a portfolio manager covering metals valuable and South African resources. He will spend at RBPlat on October 1st.

"He joined Xstrata in 2004 and also held other management positions in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations in London as part of the team that made Xstrata a diversified global mining company, subsequently acquired by Glencore in 2013, "RBPlat said in a statement issued on Thursday.
