Titans running back Derrick Henry followed a 2,000-yard regular season with one of the worst playoff games of his career.

Henry had 18 carries for 40 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Ravens. Surprisingly, he hasn’t won a first try in any of his 18 races. (The Titans finished with a run first, on a preview from quarterback Ryan Tannehill.) Henry later admitted it was a tough game.

“This game will make you humble,” Henry said, via the Nashville Tennessean. “It will show you that you have to keep working.”

Henry said he would be motivated this offseason by his performance on Sunday.

“It will definitely sting,” said Henry. “It will probably be on my mind for the rest of this year.”

The performance stung the Titans, who discovered that football’s old beliefs about relying on the playoff running game sometimes resulted in a humiliating loss.
