For 600 Platinum Points

Called that!

Just recently, I noticed Nintendo’s trend of releasing proprietary games and then leaving us physical My Nintendo rewards after launch. It happened with late drops for Animal Crossing, Paper Mario and Xenoblade Definitive Edition: with faster arrivals for Mario Kart Live and Pikmin 3. It would therefore have been logical for Nintendo to offer at least one Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity reward. They did it.

This is only a reward, but it’s nice: for 600 Platinum Points you can collect a notepad on the following theme Age of Calamity. I mean, technically he’s got the Age of Calamity name on it, but really, it’s an extension of Breath of the wild merch with stylized drawings of Urbosa, Revali, Mipha, Daruk, Zelda, Link and Hyrule Castle (which are done in the style of the flashback sequences from both games). The notepad measures 8.5 ”x5.5 and is 50 pages long. I already have one to put with the rest of my Zelda collection.

As a reminder, if you need help picking up a few quick points, check out our Pikmin website promotion guide (100 easy points), be sure to log into the Wii U or 3DS online store this week, or check out Super mario run for a hot second. 600 is in the middle of the road for physical rewards this year, so make sure you really want it before you lose all those points.

As a rule of thumb, it’s a good idea to have around 600-800 points to use on something you really want, in case it sells out quickly. A few items have been restocked, but so far the most expensive item (a 1000 point Tom Nook keychain) is still sold out.
