AGGIE FOOTBALL PLAYER CHARGED WITH AGGRESSION

A member of the Texas A & M football team was arrested for alleged assault.

According to College Station police, Derrick Tucker was arrested on Thursday for alleged assault on a Northgate car park in March.

Police report that Tucker has been disputed with another man because of a dispute over tacos.

Police said that Tucker had originally left the scene, but then returned and hit the victim in the back of the head, while the alleged victim had his back turned.

Police said several witnesses identified Tucker, a junior defender from Manvel, Texas.

Tucker was booked at Brazos County Jail on Thursday. He was released on bail of $ 5,000.

A & M officials say they are "aware of the situation" and "will continue to gather information".
