Apple products are notoriously difficult to deconstruct and reassemble, but that hasn’t stopped people from taking the new AirPods Max apart to see how it works.

These folks happen to be the talented team at iFixIt as well as a Chinese YouTube channel, and what they found inside is generally not surprising: two dynamic 40mm drivers designed by Apple; two color-matched magnetic pads; two Apple H1 chips; and eight microphones for active noise cancellation.
