Originally announced in September 2017, Apple is ready to say goodbye to its product 'AirPower' supposed to charge Apple Watch, iPhone and Airpod wireless. They decided not to launch the product because of a problem of overheating.
"After many efforts, we concluded that AirPower would not reach our high standards and we canceled the project," said Dan Riccio, senior vice president of hardware engineering at Apple. TechCrunch.
"We apologize to the customers who were looking forward to this launch. We continue to believe that the future is wireless and we are committed to advancing the wireless experience," added Riccio.
As soon as they announced this, social media users started doing what they do best: create memes!

It seems that people were looking forward to it and now, it sounds like a very disappointing farce of April fish.
