Two years ago, Kyle Flood followed Steve Sarkisian from the Atlanta Falcons to Alabama.
Now he is ready to follow Sarkissian again.
Flood, Crimson Tide’s offensive line coach for the past two seasons, has been hired to be Sarkisian’s offensive coordinator and Texas offensive line coach, sources have confirmed to AL.com.
The news was first reported by ESPN Radio.
Under Flood, Alabama’s offensive line won this season’s Joe Moore Award, which is awarded to the nation’s top offensive line unit.
Prior to Alabama and two seasons as an assistant offensive line coach with the Falcons, Flood was Rutgers’ head coach from 2012 to 2015.
