Alabama linebacker Will Anderson left Saturday’s game with Mercer early in the third quarter after receiving a blow to the knee.

The Crimson Tide were leading 31-0 in the opening practice of the second half when Anderson was hit. Anderson’s right knee appeared to flex briefly after receiving the blow.

The National Freshman of the Year and the All-American preseason immediately limped in. He walked over to the tent for the injured on the sidelines. Moments later, he made his own way to the Alabama locker room with Alabama training staff, including orthopedic specialist Dr. Lyle Cain.
