Week 5 of the college football season is drawing to a close, and there has been a fair amount of action on the pitch – and a lot of trolling.
Overall, this season has been tough for ranked teams as 34 AP ranked teams have already lost, the most in the first five weeks of the season. No.12 Ole Miss vs. No.1 Alabama had all the makings of a major clash. As well as being the next chapter in Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin’s well-documented relationship, it featured two Heisman favorites in Matt Corral and Bryce Young. It was also the next stop on Arch Manning’s recruiting tour.
Ole Miss had the catch of the day – and maybe the year – in Braylon Sanders’ one-handed problem. Other than that, it was Bama until the end. On the sidelines of the Crimson Tide, a variant of Loki was seen “in awe” (see what I did there?) On the dashboard.

Luckily for the multiverse, Big Al underwent a costume change – this time in response to Lane Kiffin’s pre-game interview. He certainly had his popcorn ready and enjoyed every second of the game.

The College GameDay team traveled to Athens, Georgia for Game # 2 Georgia and # 8 Arkansas. The Bulldogs recorded their second straight shutout, with a decisive 37-0 win over the Razorbacks. For those keeping track at home, Georgia beat their last two opponents by a whopping 99-0.
Arkansas, who typically have a top notch social media presence, took a straightforward approach for their post-game tweet.
This is the final score tweet.

Michigan, No. 14, kept a good lead over Wisconsin and took the time to cheer when “Jump Around” was played.

A wise man once said: “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
The Stanford group saw this phrase and ran with it as they performed the national anthem ahead of their clash against the Oregon No.3 with the Oregon State motto appearing on the drum.
Needless to say, the Beavs were thrilled.

Kentucky’s surprise 20-13 win over Florida’s No.10 was a party – voluntary pun. With Waka Flocka in attendance, Florida’s 16-game winning streak at Kentucky was interrupted. It was the longest winning streak against a single opponent in SEC history.

Social media team had fun with the historic victory, but head coach Mark Stoops was fairly balanced in the face of the ordeal.
“We’re celebrating tonight, get back to work tomorrow morning” he said after the game.
No.22 Auburn came out on top in a heavy blow against LSU. It was tight, but the away team won their first Bayou victory of this millennium. Their last victory at Tiger Stadium dates back to 1999.

Last week, Notre Dame No.9 trolled Wisconsin with their play on “Jump Around”.
Unfortunately for the Fighting Irish, they were on the other end of the phone this week as the Bearcats enjoyed themselves online.

Ohio State’s No. 11 troll on Rutgers, his Big Ten conference partner, took a fair bit of planning.
Spoiler alert: These tweets read Go Bucks, a tedious but hopeful move by the team’s social media account.
