Alabama-LSU game set to be postponed for next week

Alabama and LSU will end up getting the chance to play this season after all.

The game, which was originally scheduled for November 14 but postponed due to LSU COVID-19 issues, is expected to be postponed next Saturday (December 5), sources confirmed to AL.com.

The news was first reported by Yahoo Sports.

Alabama was due to face Arkansas next week. This match is expected to be moved to December 12. Meanwhile, LSU was scheduled to play Ole Miss. This match is expected to be moved to December 19.

That means these are the current schedule-wise expectations over the next few weeks for the No.1-ranked Crimson Tide, 3-3 Tigers and Ole Miss, who enter 3-4 this weekend:

Alabama – Auburn (Saturday), LSU (next Saturday), Arkansas (December 12)

LSU – Texas A&M (Saturday), Alabama (next Saturday), Florida (December 12), Ole Miss (December 19)

Ole Miss – Mississippi State (Saturday), open week (next week), Texas A&M (December 12), LSU (December 19)
