The Alaska Republican Party has voted to censor U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski and will recruit a challenger to run against her in next year’s election.

Saturday’s vote is not unique nationally. Similar votes were held across the country against Republicans who supported the impeachment of former President Donald Trump.
Warren said he submitted the resolution “right after the Senate impeachment vote”.
