(CBS / WBNG) – Aldi says it's reminiscent of Bakers Corner's all-purpose flour due to possible E. coli contamination.
The company says the product comes from a production site of ADM Milling Co. located in Buffalo, NY.
The supermarket says the flour has been sold in 11 states, including New York and Pennsylvania.
According to Aldi, the recall concerns all Bakers Corner all-purpose flours with UPC code: 041498130404. It indicates that bags of 5 pounds of flour must be discarded or returned to the store for a refund.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 17 people in eight states reported having been sick by ingesting flour.
