Alex Murdaugh, the South Carolina attorney who allegedly arranged someone to kill him in an attempt to collect millions of dollars in insurance claims for his son, will surrender to authorities on Thursday, his attorney Jim Griffin said on Fox News Wednesday night.
“We have been informed that there is an arrest warrant against him for conspiring to commit insurance fraud. He plans to surrender voluntarily tomorrow and the arraignment and bail hearing will be held at 4 pm at Hampton Country Magistrates’ Court, ”Griffin said.

The development comes after the September 4 shooting in which Murdaugh was shot in the head in broad daylight on the side of a rural road, just months after his wife and son were shot dead.
